A Hidden-Line Algorithm for Hyperspace

An object-space hidden-line algorithm for higher-dimensional scenes has been designed and implemented. Scenes consist of convex hulls of any dimension, each of which is compared against the edges of all convex hulls not eliminated by a hyperdimensional clipper, a depth test after sorting and a minimax text. Hidden and visible elements are determined in accordance with the dimensionality of the ...

Line based Geometrical Path Planning Algorithm for Extinguishing Forest Fires

In this work a mathematical approach based path planning of actor which uses equation of a straight line passing through two points is proposed to extinguish forest fires. Forest domain is considered as a square area and is tessellated into n x n cells (small squares) of desired size. The Actor which performs actions similar to the actions performed by a robot is assumed to be available at one ...

Using Geometrical and Topological Modeling Approaches in Building Information Modeling

This paper presents concepts for dealing with topological information in building information models. On the one hand, it shows how to derive topological relationships from ``traditional'' building models consisting of unconnected B-Rep bodies by means of geometric processing algorithms. On the other hand, it discusses the capabilities of topological building modeling based on relational comple...

On the two array mask hidden-line algorithm

This paper considers the Two Array Mask algorithm which enables rapid plotting of a continuous function F(x, y). After reexamining this method as a hidden-surface algorithm, its correctness and precision were analyzed for parallel and perspective projections; given that the method with perspective projections is, generally speaking, not exact, alternative solutions are proposed for this case.
